if you use a carbon filter after 60 percent humidity it will lose almost all efficiency. I actually have a weird kinda funny story. recently I had to add on to my room. I was using wood to build on to it. when I put the fresh cut fur wood in the room it brought the humidity down 25 percent! wow. it went from 55 average to around 30. now I can't say this will work for everyone but I had great success with it. I will be making cuttings of wood and hanging them to reduce humidity more if needed. a fan that blows on everything lightly will not do to much damage just make sure every plant is moving a little bit when the fans on. and by a little I mean the leafs lightly move not the stem. Make sure when you buy wood that its kinda wet and I would use a fur wood since these will be traditionally softer and able to absorb more. hope this helps.
