Cedar Planks

So, what I learned in the grow tent setup was stationary light figure, because I am not doing netting ... just scrogs low plants that I am training as much as possible.

Getting things to move the buckets up and down was much easier, I see a lot of air-flow, good drainage of water (seeing it as well for quick run off)

I found that Milk Crates work awesome - you can buy them at Home Depot. You can get them free if you ask nice at the Safeway/Publix. I have all mine free from alleys, but I brushed them with a heavy brush, then I hosed them down. They dryed and I then I sprayed Home Defense on them - then waited 24 hours, and hosed them down one more time before introducing them to my grow tent.

Now, to move things up and down in a more fine tuned way, I am using some plastic tubs - but what I found at Home Depot were Cedar Planks - long boards I simply cut down with a quick saw. Cedar controls moths, mites and gnats! Mites, moths and gnats are a problem --- so I thought, wow - I can kill two birds with one stone.

I'm using cedar planks to raise and lower my buckets, strong against water and a bug repellent at the same time. :-)
