Catching a Thief; backyard growing

I didn't and I'm the next few hours after my lights in my house went off, he came and took them.

This year I'm leaving ONE plant. I'm just going to leave it past sept and see.

I'm going to turn off my security light and just see in that week if anyone has the balls to trespass on my property.

I'll be careful as I'll have a friend with me and 911 on call as I'm legal this year and have a right to my medical marijuana

I almost hope I catch someone. But I hope I don't as my faith in humanity will be slightly restored lmfao maybe

Anyone ever lay a trap for rippers?

Someone came into my yard last year and literally ripped off a bunch of huge branches from my best plant, leaving what was left half up-rooted and on its side. I'm also in a legal state, and reported the theft to the local Sheriff. They told us to get cameras and put signs around saying that we had video surveillance, and even if we didn't get the cameras, at least get the signs.

I was able to straighten the plant back up and she lasted another week before I harvested what was left. For several of those nights I camped in the back yard in a tent. I had an assortment of dangerous harmful things in the tent with me, and of course I did not sleep much. I won't do that again.

I assume thieves are likes squirrels on a bird feeder, once they find it, they are coming back. Between that and bad fall weather we have around here, I'm doing 100% autos outdoors this year. I'm hoping that they'll be too small to put off a lot of smell, they certainly won't be visible over the fence, and their finishing in August might fool the thieves.

It's legal to grow here, but it's still illegal to hurt someone for stealing property from you. It's certainly not worth the cost of a lawyer.

Get an electric fence device. Run the charged wires about knee high around your grow area and keep it dark. No security light. When he stumbles upon it you'll know.

Cousin Wayne and his step brother, Jimmy buried a hand grenade with a plant one time. Only problem was we had a small hurricane come through a couple three weeks before harvest. It didn't blow us up, but it was a scary night.
