Hella-guilty, at the very least she should have gotten involuntary manslaughter on top of the charges of perjury. Then again its the prosecutors fault for not hitting her with those charges.

was there not a few options the jury could have held her accountable for below first degree murder? i cant remember. If i was on the jury i dont think i could let her go free. Even if her bullshit defense were true she was guilty of neglect for not being awake looking after her child when there is a pool nearby.

I think they tried to nail her with the highest charge they could, which they didn't have enough evidence for. I paid a fair bit of attention to it, and I think ultimately the jury just took 'beyond a reasonable doubt' to 'is there any bullshit scenario you can come up with so you don't have to charge her.'

It seemed blatantly obvious that she did it, I doubt the drowning story but the jury seemed to buy it.

Its such a shame she never got punished for the tragic death of caylee. Or never learned that lying is a shitty thing to do. what was that quote found on her computer? "lying is the most fun a girl can have with out taking her clothes off"

Shes going to get punished in the sense that the entire country was paying attention, and regardless of whether she rotted in jail or not -- her name is slime.
