carport greenhouses early start?

well it hasnt frosted here in over a month. I think i might start a few weeks early this year. Has anyone used lights in there carport setups to make up for our still short days. I have a 1000 watt floro. hood setup i used to use in my mama room. If I mount it high in the greenhouse it should provide the extra 3.5 to 5 hrs . i need this month to keep them in veg. I dont want my crop in bud at 10 " tall. Thanks and good luck

You can do it your way, but the deal really is to germ plus add 1 month ...then to the great out side once you local area has days longer than 12 hours, plant will adapt..once the plants click onto the day length they will resort to veg, be very careful tho, for many strains its enough to herm them
