Carbon Filters and bud Taste

After several crops with a filter and several crops without a filter, all the same strain from clone and from seed I have determined that the filter sucks flavor out of the buds. I had heard of this and thought it was a myth but it is not.
I have been using it static in the room with an 800cfm fan. I don't want to vent rather I would like to keep it static. I only grew two plants this last time without the filter so there wasn't too much smell but five big plants of this strain would WREEEAK.
If I get a speed controller for the fan would that help?
 
I don't buy it.
Carbon filters can only trap what's in the air passing through them. . .that's air that's being vented out anyway.
The same air would have gone out had there been no filter there, meaning the same microscopic particles responsible for the odor would have gone out with or without a filter in place.
 
Well, 4 out of 5 smokers agree this crop is like the bud was before I got the filter. the four crops that were produced with the filter have very little smell and taste kinda harsh. I had the largest Canfilter you can get running 850cfm in a 10 x 10 x 8 room running static. But I decided not to use it this time and this crop is more like what I was getting from this strain before I got the filter. I'm not the only person who has noted this either....
 
4/5 smokers would fookin blieve anythin u fookin told em lol...im not havin it...like jog says it only takes in whats on its way out any way....probably sumat else....ur shit aint ever gonna b exactly the same anyway despite how dialled in it is...u sure the cats not sneakin in and pissin on em ...lol
 
The flavor of pot comes from terpines produced inside the plant. With the hundreds of thousands of carbon filters at work every day, this would have been an issue long before now. I think maybe you didn't cure it the same way or something. I just can't see how the carbon filter could possibly suck the flavor out of your plants.
 
b/s i hooked up a carbon filter and guess what my buddds stillll WREEEEEAAAAKKK.... MAYBE ITS THE SKILLS..=)...

edit* just checked up,, out the room no stnk... in the reeeekin.. hehehe mmm recon from dna labs highly reccomended smells sooo good it overpwers the tahoe og... hehehe bomb diggity!!!
 
PS.. i have a speed controller for my 6" vortex, it helps quiet thing alot tooo!! i really only use it on medium.. and it works for my 23 shorties..definitly recommend the speed controller.. check harbor freight. bout 15 bucks ceaper than a hydro store
 
iv got an 8 inch fan and i dont hook it up to the filter till its proper stinky....it doesnt move enough air wiv it on....if i can help it i wouldnt put it on at all
