carbon filter odour control

been searching but cannot find a answer for my question, sorry if its been answered already.

im just wondering how you figure out how big a carbon filter or extraction you need for a room, would it depend on number of plants? size of room?.. i want to almost completely mask the smell if thats possible

also when people harvest their bud to they leave it to hang normally or do they do it with a carbon filter to remove the smell

usually the size of the carbon filter is determined by the strength of the fan. all filters have a suggested cfm rating and you need a fan that is strong enough to meet that rating in order to properly vent out your room. and your fan is determined by the size of the room and how quickly you want to replace the air. personally i like to get fans that will replace the air in my room 3x in one minute then i just put a controller on it if i dont need it that strong all the time.

yah what he siad, butt I would find a place where you don't have to use a carbon filter or ozonaters so it's more safe Cause it's gonna stink, the curing process is just as important as every step you made to this point. If you can't then slow dry for 2-3 weeks depending on humidity, then do a sweat cure in glass mason jars. This curing process is odorless and the best way to turn your chlorophyll into simple sugars. see sweat cures it's for you. when you putt your proper manicured bud into the jars they should be holding enough water that if you didn't woft fresh air daily you would get a lil bit of mold Butt done proper it's by far the best cure.

trimming & dryings going to smell the worst id use a scrubber for that then move to the jars like shaney said, as for size i like to go overkill and get a fan control or speedster
to control fan speed allowing me to dial in to a perfect seting and to aloow me to not run my fan on max all the time
