Cape Cod Grow

Alright so I was going to grow over the winter in my basement using a 2 by 2 by 4 box that I made but my basement flooded and my parents were talking of finally organizing the place so I decided not to. But I want to grow some outdoors this summer (I have chosen blue widow) on the Cape in the woods but I'm not sure weather to wait to plant the seeds in the ground, germinate them first, or what to do. Like when should I put em out there? Should I aim to have it so that they are done right on the second week of October or can they finish anytime this summer? I know I can put them out there after the last frost at least.

Love the cape. The last frost should occur in mid april so a safe bet would be to have your plants go into the ground around May 1st (I'm just over the bridge and that is when mine go out). As far as germination goes I would start them about a week before you throw em outside so the second or third week of April would be good and if you have the ability to start them now indoors I would advise it, unless you want smaller plants :). Good luck growing.
