Cant increase my yield

alright all nybody help i cant get my yields up im averaging 2 oz a plant but iv seen plants with twice that on them my lights nutrients n other shit is gd iv got two hps 400 watt lights n a 250 watt cfl light to 1 sq meter,nybody help

2 oz off of an indoor plant under that lighting is still pretty good, believe me there are alot of growers out there who would be very happy with that.

if you wish to increase yields even more, then you could try:

1) vegging the plant for longer before switching to 12/12.
2) choosing a strain with a bigger indoor yield (Chronic, B-52, Big Bud x NL).
3) using bud expansion nutes such as Dr Hornby's Big Bud.
4) topping the plants to maximise their yield - depending on strain.
5) use MH bulbs for the vegging period - increases bud sites and produces better growth.

yeild per watt is more important than yeild per plant

it should be possible to pull around 2lbs per harvest with your lights.

There's all kinds of different methods, are you growing trees? lollypop? LST? sog? scrog?
how long is your veg cycle if any?

1 sq meter doesnt sound like enough room to fully utilize your lighting capabilities at all.

cheers for the replies guys, hidden agenda im vegging for around 5-6 weeks n my plants are 2-3 ft high and im flowering 4 plants at a time so im looking at an average yield of 7-8 oz but i wanna do better iv seen 4-5 oz off a plant and thats dry bud, thats what im looking for,ny help would be appreciated mate

400w hps lights can cover 3x3 area pretty well, so for max yeild with two of them you're going to want to fill up a 6x3 area with budding plants, whether this means adding more plants, vegging longer, using techniques like topping and low stress training or scrog.... or even a combination of some of those things. with less plants you're obviously going to have to veg longer, and with less plants you're going to want to use some of those advanced techniques to get more big budding sites.

it's all up to you

cliffnotes
more plants, shorter veg, prune off lower 2/3 of plant to promote growth in the main cola (lollipop)
or
grow trees.

either way utilizing as much space as your light allows is going to be cruicial to getting max yeild out of your light..

4-5 oz per plant indoors is an extremely amazing grow; its good to aim high, but i think that may be a little unrealistic for indoors. unless space is not an issue. if you are already getting @2oz per plant, congrats. all i could say is to veg for another week or two and feed molassas in flowering. or plant a few more plants to compensate.

2 0z per plant with that lighting is quite good the heaviest producer of good smoke

I've tried is white rhino 4-5 oz from 3.5 - 4ft plants lots of bat guano every 2 wks during

flowering good growing
