what's up pro's?

Have a problem I started growing not to long ago i'ts my first time taking it seriously I have grown before but just to see if the seeds would germinate and then I would throw them out, they grew just fine then, now that I really want to go through the stages I am havving serious problems, I have done alot of moving around with palnt from indoors to outdoors not transplanting it just moving it, the bugs almost killed it, I have it indoors perm. now, but it wont grow it's not really green it's like lime green I have transplanted it from regular potting soil to organic soil thinking it would start to grow, WRONG still not doing anything it seems to be stuck where it is, it's not dying it's just not growing or showing any improvement in health I gave it miracle grow all purpose fert. and still no improvement I spray it with a mixture of water 1/4 of the reccomended fert and a cap full of hydrogen peroxide still nothing I have pics but there in my laptop at home, can somebody point me in a better direction I keep reading it seem I am doing better than some with my set yp with worst results I have it in my armoire since its 2'x3' 6 sf and about 5' high with a flo. bulb about 3 1/2" above the plant. any tips would be appreciated.;

what kind of flr are you using... We have ours under 3 cfl's we bought at walmart for about 7 dollars for a two pack. she looks beautiful right now. also, inside your armoir it's probably getting really hot considering the fact that anything that draws electricity is also going to draw alot of friction... friction = heat and heat is bad. try leaving the doors open and putting in a fan. also, plants breathe carbon dioxide, so once all the co2 in your armoir is gone, the plant is suffocating. I'd say, cop some cfl's... they are cheap and they can be put in regular incandescent light fixtures and are extremely bright. leave them on 24 hours a day. and post some pictures.

good luck.

I also purchased my light at walmart its a 24" flo, grow light made by Lighting of america it came with the ballast and 24" bulb but I just got that yesterday I was taking it outside everyday for sunshine I live in FLA -USA i figured what would be better than the sun it does get very hot during the day above 90 tipically 91-93 farenheit I flushed the soil 2 days after I switched to organic soil and still no improvement.

well going inside then out and back probably caused some issues. The light isnt enough really.Id pass on the cfls as they burn pretty hot.Get 2 4 foot shop lights and put 1 on each side. They have 2 bulbs each and cost about $8 at wal mart. Your not supposed to spray peroxide on the plant it goes in the water so your burning the hell out of it.Soil looks pretty wet back off the water some.Use miracle grow moisture control soil and no nutes for 30 days.Temps need to be under 80.Do you have fans in the grow box as if the air is stagnamt the plant wont grow.

well even though it's in an armoire my bedroom has a ceiling fan, and I leaving the doors open so that the air in the room circulates I see the leaves moving so I know its getting fresh air as for the co2 it gets what ever is in the house the armoire also has extension cord hole but no cords through them so it offers a little ventilation when I have the doors closed, I will dump the spray bottle mix and use only water but I will hold off on the watering for a while like you say, I will post pictures daily for assistance

Thanks for the advice

I think they look over watered, also if you are using organic soil, the hydrogen peroxide is just going to kill your soil.

I would try flushing them out with water real good - then let them get real dry, super dry - then slowly start to feed them again at like 1/4 strength.

What kind of nutes are you using?

shameless plug much??? lol
congrads man,, i hope it does great

lol ahahahah... thanks.. I am really excited...

gentleman... if your plants are really suffering... would recommend the flowing

Transplant to at least 3 gallon container.
use a 20% perlite mix w/ 80% soil.
Water thoroughly... m,ake sure you PH your water!!!!

let the plant sit for 5-7 days.... to do this you will need to water with 1 gallon of water and let the pot sit in the WATER CATCH... this should be enough moisture to keep your plant content and give it a chance to recover from whatever is going on....

The perlite will give your roots much needed OXYGEN..

cheers

I'm using cfl's, they said cool light, and daylight bright. I've had no problems with heat. every problem i've had has been nutes. every tube flourescent i've used has been unsuccessful and we have four. once we switched from the four tubes to the cfl's she's been growing BEAUTIFULLY.
def. looks like over watering. my personal opinion for first time just trying grow, these cfl's can't be beat. they are cheap, easy and effective. NOT HOT!!! the hottest part is at the base. and you can still touch it with your finger and not feel it burn. Not to say you should put the plant right up to it. but within 2 inches she's right at home.
ultimately it's your decision, but that's just what's been working for me.

its worth trying I bought a 3 pack of the cfl's first but thought it would not work for some reason so I went back later that day and got the flo. grow light I will switch it out and see, what thw heck I already have the lights might as well go with them.

Thanks I will post new pics later today, and Im getting a moisture meter to control my OCD on watering.

another thing I wanted to ask is about the nutes I stated above what I am using now but before when it was still a seedling I was using expert bloom which is high in in (P) its like 50 or 53 could that have something with the problems I am having, I did Leach it before tranplanting it in to the organic soil, oh yeah back to my ? is the nute mix I'm using now ok I mix it to about 1/4 of reccomended amount?

You used a bloom nute? Tsk tsk tsk.. not good my friend..

Also, try and stay away from the Miracle Grow Purple shit plant food.

Get something decent from your local nursery or Hydro store.

What do you reccomend I get I lve in florida, I have nurseries all over the place what should I ask for? I dont want to tip any body off as to what I'm doing.

since yesterday the top of the plant seems to have perked up a little, looks firmer and the leaves seam to be strong but the tips pf the leaves all of them even the new ones are brown and point up or curl up, and the plant is still lime green, all of the new shoots that were groing on the bottom seem to be really sick and droopy and the ne shoots are drying up befor they become leaves, what's this about?

i killed like four little babies with the miracle grow purple shit.

I hate that shit
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.
