Hello all,
I'v been racking my brains on this question for many weeks. I have been slowly building my grow room for about 10 months now, and i'm coming to some of the last choices. I have a built in cupboard which was shelved. Removing and mix 'n' matching the shelfs led me to this.

Thats a twin 55w 6400k floro, more than enough to support my little space
Eventually the clones, propergator and one of those mothers will be there. Both mothers are bagseed.

This is where the question comes in. Currently my soon to be flowering room will have a new light that i'v been saving up for. This will cover 6-10 smallish clones and be abit of a sog grow. For months I decided on the 300W 2700K U9 CFL from ebay. The reflector they have on there will JUST (and i mean JUST) fit into the grow space which I was cool about. This would mean I could get the plants abit more developed before they flower as height won't be such an issue.
But now... I can't help thinking... DID SOMEONE SAY H.P.S?! I mean, I hear you just cant beat it. So, my question is, do I have enough room to keep the plants from burning my house down in my flower room for a 250w HPS system. I cannot vent in any direction, but I am willing to purchase a couple low wattage air conditioners blowing on the light. I was thinking i'll probably need them with either light because 300w CFL or 250w HPS is going to get hotter than the 4x 30w 6500k CFL's I have vegging the clones at the moment. I also have 4x 23w 2700k CFL's if that helps.
