ok so this is my first grow and i need help deciding between these two lights. im keeping it pretty small so i dont think i will need any more then 150w.

option 1.
Glass for Sun Systems Sun System 2 and one of these bulbs http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=22&FGNumber=~HP150

option 2.
http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=7&FGNumber=E-MT6H151G and make my own reflector and cooling system.

i know they are pretty much the same. i was kind of thinking option 1 so i dont have to go through making a reflector and cooling system.

the only thing that throws me off is when it talks about mogul and medium. im not sure what the difference is between them or even what they are talking about.

Those are different sizes of light socket.Certain bulbs are mogul base, to fit mogul socket, like hps and metal halide. You just have to match the bulb and base.

May I suggest high tech garden supply? They have systems ready to go in the box, you just have to assemble the reflector and screw the bulb in.Get this one, and a switchable mh extra bulb, and you've got veg and flower covered, and you can customize the reflector and bulbs.Easiest way, IMO.High Tech Garden Supply

would the first option i have up there work also. isnt it a complete system minus the bulb? or is it missing something that i need for the setup?

this one is just a little more then what i wanted to spend. lol nice though

I can't get it to load.If that one is too much for you, try one of their 250 watt systems. They even have a 150 for micro grows. If you lived nearby, I'd give you my extra 150 watt hps if you scrubbed my house from top to bottom, lol!;)

If you can afford it go with HPS. I use MH for vegging and cloning, but I have used HPS for this as well. I saw no difference in growth rate between them, and you can use HPS for flowering just by changing the light on/off schedule.
