Only lower leaf sets are starting to die. Some new growth looks better than other new growth. It just started showing it's pistils today.

I think the brown spotting may be nute burn, although I have only fed it a very small amount of fertilized water, a couple times. I'm also worried that the canoeing leaves could be a deficiency. Is this a PH lockout or...? I've asked for help before but I'm still kind of stuck, and since I know for sure that it's female, I don't want to take any chances on loosing it.

Should I flush? Or would that just release more time-released nutes into the soil.
I think I may have under watered a couple times out of fear of over watering and releasing too much nutes.

This is my first grow, I should have LST, and I now know that MG is not recommended for cannabis.

flush with ph 6.8 water dont go crazy just use it to bring the ppm of the soil down to stop the burn I had a similar issue and put about half the volume of the container in ph'd water into the pot and it solved nicely :) after that I kept them nice and wet for a few days just to make sure they were out of the danger zone. If you have done it right you will see signs of recovery in under 24 hours. On mine you could see the difference within 4-8 hours.. your ph shouldnt be too far out but always water at 6.8 to be safe. Dont fert until your plant looks hungry !!!!!!!! Also what are your temps ? I would say the issue is to do with moisture and heat as well as ph and neut burn. Get a ph tester if you dont have one. I paid 3 pounds for the drops for ph testing and now I know that if I put a small drop of ph down into my water its 6.8 exactly and it saves a lot of hassle knowing this :)

Hope this is helpful. Please give me rep if you like my comments !

Thanks for the reply. So it would be okay to flush it a bit even though my soil has the time release nutrients in it? I think nutrients are released every time I water so I haven't been sure on what to do exactly. I think my temperatures are fine (in the 75-80 range). I do need to get a pH meter though, I've been looking for a cheap one that's also a moisture meter but I can't seem to find one.

Yikes. Quite a dilemma you have due to the time release nutes. I'd still say it needs to be flushed though. Next time, add some dolomite lime to your soil and you won't have to fight with the pH.

I'm definitely learning with this grow. How much water should I flush it with though? I hear some people flush with 3x more water than the amount of soil/pot size. I'm worried about over watering when it comes to flushing.

The brown spotting looks like a P deficiency to me.

I had a problem with clawed leaves before and it turned out to be too much N. If you're worried it might be ph related,
I'd add a few tbsps of dolomitic lime to the soil surface and water in really good. Use warm (not hot) water 70-75.

I was reading about the N. How would I reduce the Nitrogen intake? I'll try flushing first and see if that helps at all, and I'll look into getting some dolomite lime.

How would I reduce the Nitrogen intake?
Hmm..not sure about that one. If the flushing doesn't help, I would consider
transplanting to soil without time release nutes. I know it's not generally
recommended to transplant during flowering, but I did my last one 3 weeks in
and it kicked ass after I did. It took a few days to get back on track, but didn't
seem to suffer a bit. If you're limited to what you can get from the big-box
stores, the MG Organic Choice would be ok. Add some sand or perlite though
and be generous with 'em. I usually do a 3:1 MG Organic:Perlite/Sand and 1-2
tbsp lime per gallon of soil. If 3:1 looks too perlite heavy, you can always add
more soil. It's pretty easy to eyeball it. I'd stop using the MG nutes too. Schultz
fert is sold at most major stores and works pretty good. It's got all the trace
elements too. Get the one for cactus to use for flowering...it's 2-7-7 I think.
Hope everything works out.

edit: Don't use MG's perlite...it's got their nutes in it too.
