Yes it’s legal in agricultural commodities markets (oranges, soybeans, corn..etc.) to use Crop Method accounting in reporting earnings. However, LP’s have successfully lobbied the Fed’s to include this practice in their financials, basically making Cannabis a defacto commodity.
