Cannabread Pudding... freakin delish!

I'm a big fan of edibles but not so much the flavor... So I drunkenly came up with a recipe that did a GREAT job at hiding the cannabutter flavor. And it's REALLY good! :eyesmoke:

Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding!

Ingredients:

Cannabutter:
- 2/3 sticks butter
- 1 cup milk (I used whole)
- at least 5g of bud or trim

Bread pudding:
- 4-6 hot dog buns or slightly stale bread
- cannabutter
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- semi sweet chocolate chips (to taste)
- white chocolate chips (to taste)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp cocoa powder

Sauce:
- 1/2 cup whole milk or cream
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- pinch of brown sugar

In a crock pot or covered sauce pan, combine the milk, butter, and bud/trim. Allow to simmer on LOW heat for 4-8 hours, stirring occasionally. Strain butter/milk with cheese cloth and allow to set slightly in the fridge.

Preheat oven to 350. Arrange torn pieces of hot dog bun in a greased round baking dish. In another bowl, combine cannabutter, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa powder. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour mixture over bread and stir to make sure all pieces are wet. Put in the oven and bake for 25-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and pops back when you lightly press on it.

In a small saucepan, heat up 1/2 cup of milk or cream while stirring constantly over medium heat. Slowly add white chocolate chips while stirring until the mixture is entirely smooth. Add brown sugar to taste.

Pour that sauce all over the deliciousness you pull out of the oven and you'll be satisfying your munchies AND getting stoned at the same time! :mrgreen:
 
Hey thanks, I'll give it a try someday, sounds delicious....as for the trim, did you chop it up first?
