For me personally, it's just an issue with driving nowadays. If I'm high, driving is so uncomfortable, almost unbearable. Chest gets tight, hard to breathe hard to focus, fuck all that. I love my car and I love driving too much to make it unpleasant on myself. Now, if i have to drive somewhere I just don't smoke, or smoke way less.

My 2 cents? --as a subset of people who already have compromised levels of oxygen in our bodies, the need for clean oxygen is a bigger deal as we get older, in addition to our bodies just kinda slowly losing tolerance for things. ... Don't you guys feel like you get drunk way easier in your 40s than you did in your 20s or 30s? --I do, hell I get perved off a handful of Michelob Ultras now

Gittin old sucks.

Meds. Dab to break the ice. Hemp flower. Not smoke at all for a while. Pepper corn terpene strains. Cbd.

Light use like vape carts, one hitters, pinner joints etc. especially after breakin in the first layer of tolerance or else it is hell each time until you do.

Hopefully it comes periodically and you can still enjoy heavy use time to time without extra assistance.

Normal people do not have this issue or simply never got accustomed to weed yet and might never get there. Being a stoner takes dedication.

I beg to differ. I think normal people DO eventually hit a wall with substances either not being effective, or having a detrimental effect. Pretty common, you'd be surprised.

I never hit this wall since I started. I am referring to youngins haha. For sure a segragation from back in the days weed vs todays weed and youngins vs our parents already.

My generation might be the one that just cannot see this issue, we are accustomed if we be stoooonin .

LOL good point. As to that;. I don't subscribe to "back in my day weed was much better" because weed is in fact stronger now than it ever was, & is an ongoing trend. If anything, maybe some Boomers are reminiscing over smoking paraquat laced weed that used to slam their heads with a brick . As for me? --i'm blessed to be a Gen-Xer who's had the pleasure of experiencing both the super skunky "back in my day" weed, and these current super frosty candy-gas strains we're mostly stuck with.

I just watched fcc videos talking about how there is still hope for the overall genome. I see that pure landraces of indica/sativas still exist.

I will say I like skunk a lot and just late 90’s and early 2000’s strains in general but don’t want to lose them over flavor and potency, I think enough is out there and all plants already smell and taste good.

I did not care for moderate thc strains other than for tolerance fixes until I grew them, then I really appreciated them the same. I am an indica dom strain guy so the time of marriage of hybrids did not bother me.

I don’t care what type it is if I grew it, it is when I am paying for it traditionally is when I get picky. I have disorders and take meds and smoke, so I get the “high anxiety” talk lol.

I hope to attribute to weed use coaching as it is an expirience in the long run. One day they love it, the next they are flushing it down the toilet haha.

This!

You are talking me and my families language haha, I been trying to say that specifically with alcohol and weed too but we call it the party odometer. I went hard as a teen!! It was the cultural trend and still is.

The more you expiremented the more you can withstand if you have an overlap of anxiety and too much weed at a given moment

I do not drink anymore, just smoke and smoked for a decade and only recently in last few years with an open market got to have access to what ever.

So consumption behavior changed and realized I never had tolerance issues and how medicating is better than general drug abuse.

Theres so much to offer with medicating properly to your bodies needs which include diet and often times, pills.

kinda feel like half these people have 0 idea what panic disorder is @curious2garden good grief lol
Truth. I am diagnosed acute panic disorder and it is an absolute bastard. Unfortunately the most commonly prescribed drugs (ssri) for the disorder do not work well with my brain chemistry. That being said, intense exercise and staying away from caffeine and alcohol have helped serve as a preventative with moderate success. I'm still a mess, but less of a mess than I was when I spent all my free time hiding in my room and drinking myself to sleep.
