He just can't understand that plenty of people are able to negotiate pay and working conditions every day, all by themselves. Admitting he needed someone else to do it for him just highlights either laziness or lack of confidence and negotiating skills on his part. I don't care if someone is in an union or not, just don't tell me I did things wrong by not joining one. Arrogance at it's finest.
