Canna Substra Flores (A & B)

I have a buddy that claims he used this Cana Substra Flores for his plants during flowering. He grew his in soil. The issue I have with this is this chemical says it's for hydroponic use only. He says that he would dilute it 1/4 of whats being asked in the back of these bottles and feed it to his soil plants. Now whats the difference between the hydroponic use only and their soil formula? I don't feel this would be safe for soil use and would apperciate any help that people can give me. Thanks.

PS -- Check out some pics at the bottom.. bongsmilie

If he did it and it worked, than why not :P?
I dont understand the diferencwe between hydro and soil nutes... I am using the same nutes I was using for soil and it seems ok... never read the bottle to see if I wasnt supost to do that :( :P

The only main difference I would think is dosage, because the plant eats the same thing anyway. But, hydroponically it eats the same thing as fast as it can. Always look for explicit warnings though.

I agree... I mean there may be some addatives that may not mix well with soil for some reason I guess :-?

im using Canna Substra Series for a 50/50 soil/soiless grow slowly built up to full strength 3ml per litre using distilled water... and plant is loving it..... no nute burn or anything... did have some problems using tap water..but that went away when i switched to distilled...
