Candida CD1 20 cbd: 1 thc is making me feel stoned? Help

I just finished a Candida CD1 grow I purchased seeds from an online store in Canada and it came in a Marijuana genetics package with a red cross on and green circle, now the site states the THC never passes 1% I did take it early though around 7 weeks as the plants weren't doing good for me anyway.
Now I'm not happy with the outcome, i vape it and I'm like wait a minute I'm for sure stoned. I dont like being stoned and am looking for high CBD with little or no THC to get me soberly through the daytime (bad arthritis and with medium pain here)
3 questions for you:
Any one here experience this same outcome after growing and trying CD1 candida?
Any suggestions on cheap laboratories I can send it too in Canada for analysis?
Any advice on what strains to try growing next, that truly are a high CBD low THC Sativa for daytime use?
I use high cbd indica for night and it knocks me out. Sadly I grew DINA MED too it doesn't make me stoned but is acting like an indica knocking me out too in the daytime, so suggestions are much appreciated thank-you.

suggestions
I'm going to copy and paste from another forum on another site. This came from subcool.com (the daddy of SuperSoil). The herbs he is talking about keep showing up in posts. I will be trying them. If he breeds the weed he know what is the best.

J: "hey Subcool, which of your strains do you recommend for body pain but also doesnt put you in couch lock mode and wanting to fall asleep. Im looking to buy some of your genetics for my next season and so many look good. hoping i can get your feedback since you have smoked them all im sure. thanks"

O: "Howdy

If I may answer for Sub.

Pennywise would be a good choice for 1. That being said, I have been having excellent success with Hurkle. I helps with my Lower back pain, arthritus, keeps me moving during the day and also helps me sleep at night. I have had excellent results with Canna caps. 1 oz to 2 cups of Coconut Oil and 2 tbsp of Lecithen makes a good pain reliever and doesn't make me drowsy"

J: "Thanks for the reply, Any info is appreciated. I am not familiar with cannabis caps I'll have to look them up. If you dont mind sharing, How many different strains of his have you grown"

O: "Hi Juston ive been his lead tester for 12 years give or take. I have grown many of his strains. Honestly, these days I cannot keep up lol. If your looking for pain relief I’d start with the 2 I mentioned. Pennywise leans on the sat so she can get tall where as the Hurkle is a hybrid so she’ll fall in the middle being more compact."

Hope this helps.

I grew the same exact stuff and I occasionally take caps of it. I think I notice it gets me a very little bit high that takes 2 hours to hit and probably lasts 30 mins. But it's not strong and I can go out in public which I can't stand to do when I'm truly high. I can't explain but it just seems to mellow me out some. I don't have big pain problems to comment on, but maybe you should try making salve with it. That should not get you high. I think some thc added is good for pain so this may be the way to go. Only thing is salve smells a little funny. Maybe that goes away or maybe I go nose blind not sure which.

I have two packs of the same seeds. I am guessing you got them from eastcoast seeds before they shutdown?
There is noway to know until it is tested. From the research I have done, there tends to be a wide variety of potential phenos in most cbd strains. Which makes sense given the wide range of genes being used. I don't recall the never being above 1% thc part. I do remember them saying it has produced 20-1 plants.
It has also been proven that cbd with some thc is far superior to just cbd, especially in regards to pain management. That is why hemp oil cbd sucks ass for most people.

Cheers :)

When you're growing any of these strains from seed you'll get variations, some phenos will have more of one or the other. Only way to find out is smoke test, home test kit or lab test. Health Canada has a list of test labs, if you're a registered medical user you can send them in for testing. I believe a mix of the widest range of cannabinoids and terpenes works best but for daytime a low THC/high CBD pheno makes sense. Putting it in edibles in low dosage pills or the like would work better than smoking it, you can control the dosage to the point where the high won't be noticeable with a high CBD pheno.

Buy some pure CBD distillate crystals, and cut your home grown, until it does not get you high.

Personally, having to put up with a short mild buzz, is worth it. For me, the terpens and some THC make CBD work that much better. The buzz could be from the terpens profile?

I hear what you are saying. If you get it tested I would be very interested in the CBD/THC ratio.

I personally find salves useful. I basically make infused coconut oil. I make capsules I take in the evening, and use the same infused coconut oil to make a salve, by simply adding essential oils of your preference to enhance it.

I quit growing a cbd strain all together yes ago. I now only use cbd isolate. Why spend months and months to grow a cbd plant for a few (3 oz or so), when I can get 99.6% pure cbd isolate for hella cheap. Coa and lab test results are always given. Organic grown!. Be wary of china imported CBD, its loaded with metals. Theres np standards over there.

My many patients all like the isolate vs the flower extract.

I dont know where you live but where I do in Canada its expensive. The cheapest I found is 60 bucks a 30ml bottle I will absolutely keep growing CBD plus i find the oil doesn't work as fast as just vaping the flower. The one I use the most is $12.50 a gram flower for bud but the crushed product is about $9.50, the last grow of that brand i did for two plants was 16 grams the equivalent of 200 bucks for a total cost on electricity 45 bucks divided by the other plants i grew 7 of them different strains so electricity cost was 6.42 per plant so well worth it for me! I average about 8- 10 grams per plant at least so to me growing is absolutely a necessity.

Where are you getting your CBD and who is regulating these tests/self-certs? Where is your CBD hemp coming from?
I'm about to begin hunting for our own high CBD cut but am keeping these options open for efficiency sake. Thanks @DemonTrich

Where can we find the CD1 beans? Are CD1 beans reputable for high CBD varieties?

I got these two packs from east coast seeds last winter. Sadly they closed with "legalization"

The Candida-1 seems to be the best bet for high cbd cultivars from my research. I will post my experience with them here when I pop them in the next year.

Cheers :)
