BTW for everyone doing all this crazy shit to start clones, I took 10 on NOV 24th, did nothing but put them in a cup of water. No dome, no misting, no nothing. I changed the tap water once a week and had 9-10 take root. They took from 3-5 weeks! But they all rooted lol. I know real growers can’t wait 5 weeks lol. But just goes to show you don’t need anything fancy.
Correct - you don't. I have a healthy and bushy clone taken from a flowering lady (monster cropping) and that one took 63 days to root and that one was also cloned in plain water. Clipped on Halloween and planted Jan 2.

I wanted to see how long cloning would take in water and for me, a 2 month wait is too long. 3 - 5 weeks is too long.

The reason that folks do "all this crazy shit" is because waiting for 1 - 3 extra weeks severely messes up a good veg-clone-flower rotation. And all of my crazy shit only costs me a total of $40.

Oh and here is my one, 77 days since I flipped lol not sure what he hell is going on. Can anyone tell me if the black leaves is something bad ?
What did you say to that plant? It looks like it's packed it's pink suitcase as is going home to mother.

Those leaves look more like they are dark green as opposed to black - possibly nitrogen toxicity What nutes are you giving her now that she's flowering?

Oh yeah I totally understand why everyone uses hormones and domes and everything. I actually made myself a bubbler for next time and bought some rooting hormone lol. I don’t want to wait 4 weeks every time either. And wow 63 days is ridiculous lol. And yes I definitely was giving it heavy amounts of veg nutes well into flower because I had no idea. At least I have learned for next time.

I’m looking at s promix rooting horomone. It’s powder. I’ve always done powder over gel. Can’t remember the brand I used 10 years ago on my last grow. I’m out of retirement and finally finding my thumb. Promix rooting hormone okay? Or don’t bother and get a better brand?

Side note I’m siting by my tent drinking a beer on family day long weekend. Waiting to transplant into 5 gallon. Ran out of soil and had to grab some miracle grow potting mid from the garage to fill the last bit. Now I’m waiting for the soil to warm up. Don’t need anymore shock.

Just transplanted. 400watt MH is on. Leaving tent open so it doesn’t get that hot in there. MH will heat to about 28-30 with tent open. Here some shots.

Lmao! I did watch them when I was a kid. Even had their vitamins at one point. And yeah that’s my wife’s old suitcase.

What are the temps when the tent is closed? When she gets bigger and more so when she's flowering, you'll want to keep the flap closed to retain as much light as possible. Do you have an exhaust/vent set-up to remove that heat?

has anyone had a “9 week strain” go 12-13 weeks ? I’m starting to wonder if I should just chop these and start flowering my other two. Getting very impatient and starting to think that because of all the mistakes I’ve made these aren’t ever going to fill in. They have looked pretty much the same for weeks now.

Temps closed is about 31-32 with the light on. I’m planning on running a second tent just for flowering. I intend to run a HLG board for flower.

Harvest day today, taking a break between plants to give my back a break from hunching forward. My big plant is hanging - in 20 separate pieces. Weirdly enough I noticed a faint, but definite, fuel or diesel aroma along with the citrus, but this strain (candy cane) is supposedly not derived from a diesel strain (it is apparently AK47 X Mango X White Widow).

I have 4.1 oz. in jars from the two small plants harvested 10 days ago. I'm guessing I'll get pretty close to that from the one I just finished.

I'm going to try to reveg three plants just to see if these were actually photos instead of autoflowers. They are a bit over 17 weeks from sprout now, and one I harvested 10 days ago went back under the lights and has been putting out new leaves even under 12/12.

OK, finished my coffee, time to go do the last plant.

I am very new to growing, but I tried experimenting with this lol. Try this, put rooting hormones in the water. I had extra powder I wasn't using, so I stirred it in with tap water, I got roots on some within 1 week :). Some took a bit longer but wasn't much.

That's interesting. So how much powder/gallon did you use? Or did you not really measure either the water or the powder quantity?

135 watt HLG boards are back in stock. Looking like I’m gonna pick up a 3000k one for my flower tent.

Also thinking that I may pick up a 4 inch booster fan from Home Depot. Gonna use that as an exhaust fan for the veg tent. Thing is only about $35. Have the vent hooked up to my timer for the light so it only runs when the Mh light is on. Should solve my heat issues yeah? For flower don’t foresee heat issues with the quantum board but am going to run a carbon filter to get rid of smell. Probably run that exhaust fan on a timer too for when lights come on. Run it at a very low setting.

Amazon is turning into my one stop shop for my grow needs haha.

Oh god. I just noticed my bottom fan leaves have a few brown spots on them. I just transplanted into the 5 gallon pot with promix. There is plenty of nutes in the soil and I haven’t used any nutes yet.

Yeah I love amazon too lol, just wish someone told me 4 months ago not to buy my light on there! Haha. I have a 4” booster “Y’d” into my dryer exhaust to keep the house from stinking and it works ok for 2x4x7 cabinet. I think it back feeds into the dryer a little. It’s hard too tell.

Here is the photo of the bottom fan leaf. Sorry for the bad picture. But you can see a few brownish spots and other spots of the lead are fading a bit. My coledyon is also almost died off. It is the leaf that comes out after the coleydons that doesn’t have the 5 points as the traditional pot leaf. When looking on the under side you can see the darkness. Spots aren’t on the under side but you can see the darkness.

The soil that it’s in is promix organic for herbs and vegetables. I didn’t have enough so I use the rest of my promix seedling starter which is what the plant lived in the solo cup before transplanting. I also topped it off with a little bit of miracle grow potting mix. I only did about 4-5 handfuls of that garbage just to top off my pot.

I’m thinking it was the miracle grow I added. It’s .21-.11-.16. Feeds up to 6 months. I didn’t use that much of it though. It’s not a huge issue right now. But I noticed something off with the bottom set. I hope it grows out of it. I don’t plan on watering for another 3-4 days. The 400 watt MH is about 22-23 inches above the canopy.

This first leaf along with those little cotyledons are shed once the main stalk and internodes develop. Eventually the canopy is going to cover those single finger leaves and they will shrivel and die off.

If there is a problem with the 5 pointed fans, as in those are showing brown or black spots, I would be concerned. But if it's only the first single fingers, you can ignore that.

If there are a few nodes that have developed nicely above that leaf, you can remove that one and it's counterpart without damaging anything on your girls.
