Cana Coco question

Hi, I'm a first time grower... inside, cfl hydrofarm grow system... im growing ww..................

I lost my first few plants in the seedling stage do to nutrient burn... but one survived and is doing well...

but im afraid of giving it nutes... canna A&B............how much should i use and when ... my plant is in its third week of growth buts its still small....

4 set of leaves but is barely an 2 inchs high

nute burn and over watering but it has recovered,,,,,, its really starting to grow...

I was thinking of buying soil tabs... im just afraid i will make the same mistake......... any advice would be greatly appreciated

Coco is not soil.

Go to the canna website and use their nutrient calculator.

Choose LIGHT FEEDING.

Coco needs constant feeding.

Your plant is small because is needs nutrients.

You may want to invest in a pH meter as coco is very pH specific.

Ideal pH is 5.8.

Other than this look at the OFFICIAL CANNA COCO GROWERS thread

And the idiots guide to coco growing.

I did the calculator and since im growing in a solo cup... theres 16 cups in a gallon ... it came out saying 1 ml of A and 1ml of B... could that possibly be right... so little?

I don't understand why you're talking about growing in a solo cup versus how many of those cups are in a gallon.

You're mixing the nutes into water first right?

Agreed, before even asking a single question have a look into those threads, ALL the first and most common issues are right there. There are a good few coco-specific things to know about.

In general, the Drain To Waste hydro section should give you all the info you need in under an hour.

Don't use the calculator using the size of your container, but rather the volume of pure water you are going to be using to mix with. Hope that makes sense, but to a single cup a millilitre of each is quite strong, yes. You will be mixing a few millilitres per LITRE of water mate.
