Can You Use A Pickle Jar For Curing?

Can you use clean pickle jars instead of mason jars for curing? Is it best to cure in a dark place inside or outside of the refrigurator? When do you know for sure that the curing process is finished and you do not have to worry about opening the jar up on a daily basis anymore (mold)? Thank you.

the jar would work as long as its air tight as for the time it takes is always different depending on density of the bud but as long as there not moist you can tell by touch usually

ya and you want to open it every day to avoid mold.

u might want to get that pickle smell out first if u can but besides that a pickle jar would be perfect.

I got a 12 pack of jars for 8 bucks at a local store.

put a little baking soda in the jar for a few days before u need it then wash it again, that should help get that smell out
