I’ve always felt in my opinion female stalks are fairly smooth and male stalks have those lines on the stalks

For those who said male I want to say I'm impressed. Just found a set of balls down low and I'm still in veg. Balls were actually opened already.

If you wanna know flip the lights to 12/12 and you'll know after 24hrs. Maybe 36hrs at most.

But honestly it's to early to tell... However as @Pa-Nature pointed out... That does look like male pollen sacks forming.

Yes you're probably right. And they could have been lucky as it's 50/50 coin toss it comes up male.

Sorry I didn't take a new picture to show you. Quite certain they're balls now down low in the shade under the fan leaves directly off the stem. Not even preballs just full on balls dumping spooj. I cut the hell out of it so it fits in the makeshift 'pollen room' and put it to 12/12.
