can you mix 2 diff nutes together in the same rez.?

hi peeps , my question to you all is " WILL I GET AWAY WITH THIS " , i didnt realise i was running out of HESI grow so obviously i had to make the cf/ec/ppm stronger in the rez so i added FORMULEX till i got the correct ec level. will this be ok as a quick fix.? it will be a few days b4 i can get hold of more GROW nutes.

its not wise because different companies as certain concentrations of NPK when it comes to your base either a 3 part or 2 part always stay with the same brand different companies dont play well together... if it works this time your lucky i wouldnt recommend doing it again. your plants will show a burn or a deficiency. next time use what you have but set the water accordingly example i have a 55 gal res if I run low then i would say make enough for 25 gal and next day some new stuff to me.

yeah i kinda thought it wud or cud be dodgy to mix 2 diff nutes together, the plants seem fine but it cud take a day or 2 for them to show signs of any deterioration if its minor. think if it was gona be major they wudov showed me by now. (almost 24hrs since)

im thinkin bout vitalink max grow n bloom , ive used it b4 with great results so when im at the hydro shop al check wot theve got.

For just a few days, heck, just use plain vanilla ph'ed water won't do the any harm.

hi guys , here's a lil update with the nute prob i had.

the plants did suffer a lil bit , infact out of 3 ive only got 1 left.
they were changed over to vitalink max bloom n at first they all seemed to like the nute change without probz , then after a wk they started to show signs of bein really ill. the cf was kept a lil lower till they got used to it and there wasnt a ph prob so your guess is as gd as mine as to wot went on in the tank.

its a shame but hey ive still got 1 left and shes doin great now. 4 wks into flower and fillin out nicely.
its the strain my big bro made (HUSTLA'S WIDOW) many of you will have heard of him "(o2hustla)" , some wont have...
