Can you grow on the roof..?

Is it possible to have a sucessful grow on top of the roof of my house?

sure then why dont you grow a fence of bud in your front yard

Anything is possible but not knowing your roof I can't tell you if yes or no. If you have a pitched roof I would say nah. People have sundecks on their roofs. If I had a roof with a sundeck I would definitely veg indoors & then bring them out on the sundeck. People grow on balconies so why not a roof ?

roofs are typically covered in black shingles. the color black absorbs light and causes heat. this means that the soil and roots would get verry hot and the foliage would receive very little light

also winds are stronger at higher elevations, so it will probably get blown off the roof
