Hey all;

I have a DIY bubble ponics system. All is well but i started to think should i be transplanting them into 6" or 8" pots soon.

Or are they fine to stay in the 4" pots. Personally i thought they would be fine in the 4" pots since all of their roots are in the reservoir below drinking in all those lovely Nutrients.

Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers.

I have my 2 ladies in 4" net pots in a 10 gallon tote. The only problem I have had... is my holes in the tote cover were file when my girls were babies... but... they gained some considerable weight. They are very bushy! One of my girls fell though when i was changing the res. The tote top will flex... especially under the weight of a heavy girl. I had to use electrical tape around the netpot for extra support. I rotate my totes for easy res. change. I set up the tote with nutes... and move the girls over. Good luck.

Thanks guys for the info.
Yeah i have a back up rubbermaid tote so that i set it up with water and nutes then just switch the tops. Makes it a little easier.

It is good to know that translplanting them is one less thing i have to do. I guess i can just sit back and watch my babies grow.

Cheers.

Yeah, right now I have 3 extra tubs, soon to be 2 when I start my next batch in 3 weeks. Having the extras really helps because you can fill it up, bring it to your grow area, and just switch tops. This way your plants won't be stressin too much.
