Yeah I decarbed first for one hour at 220, most of the material was pretty dry. About 2oz(the bud part) was mostly lemon kush and silver platinum, with a few grams of grape kush, something about cbd(the name pertaining to high cbd) and fire deisel.I decarb my material for an hour at 240f, and then I make my butter with it. I only simmer it long enough to dissolve the trichomes. I give it about an hour. Yours should be ready I would think! I also use one oz/one pound butter. Yours should be pretty strong I would think if your material was good.
Yeah I strained it at about 7 hours. Real green in color. I just wanted to make sure I put in more than enough because I smoked one bowl for the first time of that sativa the other day and it got me high almost asap but was racy and VERY short lived. I smoke a lot so maybe it's my tolerance but about 15 mins of happiness and that was about it.I grew some SSH last year and I finally gave up and chopped them at 12 weeks. If what I got is the standard, they can keep it. I like strains that run 10 weeks or less, unless I'm running outdoor. I grew a Mama Jamaican outdoors a couple of years ago that had huge buds. smoked nice, but a chore to trim. I used 90% of it to make a ton of edibles. With what you're using, you should have plenty of potency.
Great stuff. ive heard a lot about the stem theory but this is the first proof of it. ThnxsYou could add stems, would take alot to actually increase potency though..
While it does depend on the strain/health/environment ect, test have been done to show that the fibers within the stalk actually do contain trace amounts of THC.
