can you do a hot water hash?

why do you need to use ice cold water for hash?, why not warm water or hot??? :-/

cold water "ice" is so the "crystal" can break from the plant matter easier ! thats why not hot or warm !

If you use hot water all you do is make a giant cup of peace tea.. The ice keeps the resin hard and makes it able to be collected by silkscreens. If it were hot it would melt the resin and run right through the bags and you'd have nothing.

NO. Even if it worked that way, the trichs wouldn't break off in to the water, half of them would melt on to the plant matter, and if you're lucky you get some of them to melt in to the water. And then what? Wait for the water to cool only to find that you have no way of extracting all the trichomes because it's state of solidity was altered in such a way that they mixed with water.
Dude, just don't do it.
