Can you cross feminized plants?

Just recently got my hands on a couple of strains of pollen.Upon deciding upon what to cross with what someone in my co-op informed me that i couldnt do any crossing with a couple strains that i have that are feminized because of how theyre genetics are altered.is this true?

I think you can. I've heard sometimes is unstable and prone to more Herms. But maybe someone else will chime in. I couldnt see why.
