Can Underfed mimic overwatering?

I have a couple plants in dwc that are drooping and look to be overwatered. I read another thread where someone mentioned that too low ppm (250 and under) can cause drooping that looks similar. This made me think it might be my problem since my ppm is right at 250. Is this too low for a 5 week old plant? It was slow getting going so it’s relatively small (6 nodes) for its age I think. I have 2 stones in each 10 gal res and temps are around 70 so oxygen should be okay. Any help is appreciated!

A picture speaks a thousand words..you won't get much help without showing what you're dealing with! I personally don't do dwc, but not sure how you can 'overwater' in hydro.

You should be around 600 by now. But do not just jack it to that. Are you doing daily pH checks? Are you getting swings in pH

Let the ph drift its common for the ph to rize and fall as the plant feeds. Dont chase the ph unless it spikes drasticly. If it does spike suddenly then there is probably a problem at the roots.

As long as there is adequate fert in the water, the pH should be in a good range. People fight the pH value too much trying to keep it at a single number, usually below 6. I would look at ppm as well as pH and learn to use ppm to keep pH in a good range. I've grown in DWC but never checked pH and things grew just fine.

Thanks for the tip. I think a lot of people put too much emphasis on keeping the pH exactly right.
