Like title says I screwed up photo plants grew big fast my autos 2ft tall around if I switch to 12-12 will it really screw me up? 3x3x6 grow tent 600 watt hps 600 viperspectra real watt 275 I was hoping that much light I won't hurt to badly can't you also do 13-11?!

Are you trying to flower photos at the same time? If so, you need to go 12/12 or something similar. If it's all auto, no need to shorten the day. It will cost you a little weight on the autos.

You can finish your autos on 12/12. It isn't ideal but you'll be fine. Contrary to popular belief, your autos will not just up and drop dead like they are on a life span timer. They will just chug away @ 12/12 until they are done.

I wanna start 12/12 for the photos didn't think they could grow this fast if it doubles in height flowering I'm close to being in trouble ook

Thanks for quick reply ....what kinda yield did u get and what kinda light ? I'm hoping my big guys can help out

I don’t recall the yield being off really. Years ago in college i used autos because they were fast and short. I’d run em next to my photos and switch to 12/12 after a month, harvest the autos when they were done and let the photos finish off for a semi perpetual harvest lol.

When pressed for space it worked.

Couple oz per plant under a 400w sounds about right.

Thanks for answers I'll let you guys know what happens I'm switching to 12-12 now n a couple of oz under your 400 watt? I would be more then happy with that yea they got about a month under 20-4 n one of them is 3ft for a auto lol things r getting good now :)

I meant to say yes you can. It dies hurt yield. It just depends on when you go 12/12. I grew some from seed at 12/12 and only got a few joints worth. Same seeds under 20/4 the whole time got 3 feet tall.

If the stretch is done on it then it won't hurt yield as much.
