Can this plant be put back into VIG

My wife and friend keeps telling me that we can re-Vig this plant and get more buds out of it. Is this true?View attachment 1138536

I'm not sure you can that late in development - I think if you leave some smaller buds and stuff on the bottom and cut the main buds off it'll be possible, but it would take a while so I'm not sure if it'd be worth it to you...how long has it been flowering? If you WERE to try it I'd just wait til the buds on it have finished then cut them off and leave everything on the plant you can then give it a day or so darkness and stick it back into veg - I'm wondering about trying this myself but I can't say personally if it'd work or not...

It is certainly true! You can switch the lights back to 16/8 or 24/0 and the buds will slowly die off and new growth will grow out of them. The first new leaves can be a little mutated looking but after a node or two of growth the leaves start growing normal 5-9 finger patterns. Before switching from 12/12 to a veg light cycle some people like to give them like 2 solid days of darkness to "reset" them. I never did this I just set em back in my veg room and watch em grow again.

For your particular plant I would hope you are going to harvest those buds first though lol? Just make sure you leave a few small buds at the very bottom. This is where the new growth will start again.

yes u can do it but u need to leave as many leave as possible hit it with half strength veg nutrients and be patient when i did it the plant was so shocked it took like a month to get back on track u have to keep leaves on it floral feeding helps too good luck

sorry to post a question in this thread, but do u think if he gave her 14 hours off light that far into flowering is will reveg? the reason i ask ive got some outdoor that are buddying nicely with 12 hours of sunlight but the days are increasing and by the time they are done it will be almost 14. but i dont want them to reveg

If you harvest the bud first do NOT harvest all the bud, leave some buds at the bottom as this is where your new growth will come from. It will do nothing for 4-5 weeks and appear dead before getting going again (if it takes, works about 80 percent for me)...

It depends really. 14 hours of light from sunrise to sunset would allow them to continue flowering because they arent getting direct light at dusk and dawn. If you're talking about 14 hours of direct light then I dunno. Ask in the outdoor forum to be honest.

its actually about 13hours from sunset to sunrise. but 14 from fisrt light to last light. its about 8 hours of direct sun. i already posted this question in the outdoor forum twice and the aussie growning thread and it wasnt answered so i used hijaking this thread as a last resort....sorry Op

I can tell you for sure my friends plants have been flowering outdoors since mid August and he is in EST time zone.
