Hey all-
I started my grow again- and well, when it came to nuts, i decided to try something different, i went with dutch masters. try and mix it up alittle.
So i went down to my local hydroponics shop and the retard guy showed me where the nuts were and told me i ONLY needed part A of growing and Part B of flowering and i was like COOl i only need 1 nut for growing and 1 for flowering, So far i was happy about it.
So i know the rule is u wait 2 weeks on only water and then start them off with half nuts, i like to start them with half nuts 1 week into it.
So i start reading the damn label and on the back of it, it says, Mix part A and Part B together, and my 1st reaction was like- oh ok. new super chemical that wants me to mix Part A of growing and part B of flowering..... wait WHAT.
I give the bottle to my gf and told her to read it- just so i know i wasnt that high. and she said- mix part a and b together.
i was like- no way that makes no sense, so i go online. and i look and look, and i try looking at there website and nothing i find nothing about it. either i didnt search right or didnt look in the right place, but whatever.
So i mix them into a 5 gallon jug.
I have a waterfarm, so i fill them up with the mixture, right before their watering time. so i let them get watered for 1 hour with the mixture.
Now while they are getting watered, i go online again and start searching for more about it. i go t dutch masters website and try to make sense of their growing charts. i come accross a .pdf section. and i start reading it, and half way into it. it says
NEVER MIX GROWING AND FLOWERING together of any part...
sigh
So i run outside, 45mins into the watering, and stop it, and removed the water. took out the fresh water with no chemicals. just water, and fed them for 1 week on straight water... but the damage was done. i had 6 plants. 1 died completly
1of them, decided to plow thru the chemicals, and it retardly huge, and the other 4
3 are eh, back and forth i dunno if it will make it
and the last 2, well 1 just looks dead and the other looks like it might make it.
Now im sure they will die, so i removed them from the water farm and took a look at their roots and they looked really really good, so i was like, hmm maybe.
so i took it out of the water farm and i have them in my room giving them fresh water and real sun light to see if they can make it thru.
so, just to let you guys know. (which im sure you do) but to all the noobs.
Dutch master is suppose to be the 5th best nuts. So i did research and apparently its a 4 part system

The freaking idiot at the store failed to even mention that, and you would think that dutch masters could place a warning on the back of the bottle saying
"HEY NOOB, DONT MIX FLOWERING ADN GROWING TOGETHER"
in my defense i did know this was WRONG to do, but i went with it cause my stoned ass thought it was how one of the "best" chemicals does it. Sigh my babies.
So do you with a little TLC, and fresh water they can bounce back? i wish i took pics of the roots when i switched them, they look great.
btw today is starting their 3rd week cycle, so they are 2 weeks old.
