can they flower

hi im new to growing my plants r 6 weeks old now from seed i put them under 12 hrs 2 weeks ago to see if there fems and they r .so now can i leave them to flower as they r about 12 to 15 inches tall or do they have to go back to 18 for a bit if so for how long under 18 hrs light. cheers

leave them on 12/12..... putting them back on 18/6 will confuse them and turn possibly turn them hermie.
