Can the seeds from your plant be used?

Hi,

Sometimes when I grind the genetic marijuana I bought, 1 seed comes out. It's very rare, but I've come across this a few times.

Do seeds come out of your plants, albeit rarely? If these seeds were planted, how would their productivity be? Are these seeds female?
 
One of my favorites came from bag seed . A friend got his hands on a large quantity of what we just called "BC Weed" at the time . Pretty sure it was some outdoor or greenhouse Canadian product that wasn't treated well after harvest .

It was middle of the road quality in taste and stone , but it was cheap and the bud structure spoke to me . It was semi seeded and the seeds were huge . I started some just for kicks .

Turned out to be a favorite whatever it was . Fast , strong , potent and pretty . One of the easiest plants to clone I ever had . Indoor and outdoor it was a great plant .
 
I used 20 year old bag seeds from a decent skunk strain. It turned out to be some nice bud. I grew 4 small plants in a closet grow using cfl lights. Got just over an oz from each plant. The best one I put back in veg after picking the buds off. The second flower produced 4oz and a ton of seeds.
I’m working on getting a tent setup to try some of those seeds out. Can’t wait

Haha I remember BC bud I used to smoke alot of it. You nailed it on the head. Would be interested in how it would turn out not as a total commercial with it's seeds and whatnot as it was as you said alright smoke not to many seeds but overall nice color taste and high
