Can someone with both Lupus and Glaucoma still use Marijuana?

Recently I had a family member diagnosed with Glaucoma and potentially Lupus. I do believe that she got the go ahead with the Glaucoma if I recall correctly, but as someone with Lupus is she still able to take medical marijuana? Is there any specific strains that might be viable for her to use without being put at risk? Thanks for those that can share this information,

It would probably help her quite a bit...with the glaucoma....and lupus I am told gets very painful
especially as it advances....So I can see it helping with that too....also by reducing the amount of opioids
they put her on.
She may also require mmj that is very clean and sterile....so where you obtain it could be important.
