can someone please help me, confused on whats going on with plants leaves

Leaves turning yellow/brown & die. Some leaves look normal except some have only brown rusted areas on them. What can it be?:confused:

Its dark at the moment cant provide a full pic of the plant until tomorrow. This is my 2nd grow im still new to this. But I have her outdoors in a 5 gallon pot she's about 2'-10" tall & 3months old. Looks like she could be starting to flower. Some of the leaves turned yellowish with brown rust areas like in the pic but on the other big leaves & small ones it only started getting brown rusty areas no yellowing on those yet. I water her every other day she's starting to drink up all the water quick. But my other three plants seem to be fine tho. I bought some maxibloom & molasses at the hydro shop just in case, you guys think it could be because she's about to flower?? Or does it look more like a lock out or deficiencies?

Well, 4 the most part & keep in mind this is my guess without better pictures. When a plant has "rust spots" for the most part its a "cal-mag" issue. I 4 the most part fix with liquid cal-mag. Amazon.com has great prices on it! Or for a quick fix, you could add a teaspoon to a gln of "phd" water & 3 to 4 tums for the calcium (crushed up) of course. Shake this up super good, then feed. * those last ingrediants is just a quick fix* though. Its best to get the real deal "cal-mag" from either a hydro store, sometimes wal-mart has it, or offline.
Then the "yellowing" could be caused from a (N) defiency. Nitrogen. How often are you feeding her, and if you are feeding, what are you using? :??:
Have you started to flowering cycle yet? If so how long flowering?

Trying to get the hang of using this site sorry if im posting stuff wrong lol. But here is collage of pics of the plant I said I would post up. The very last bottom pic is from a different plant. I also already have cal-mag in hand from my last grow just in case I do need it. I water her almost everyday with water no nutes yet. She's in FFOFsoil. . What can be wrong with her? Does she need to be transplanted into a bigger pot? Or is it just a deficiency?

Even in FFOF, you will need to use nutes. You could have added nutes after a couple of weeks or so. I use the Fox Farms line-up. There's plenty of others out there. How do you determine when to water?
 
I check on the plants every morning & check if the soil is drying out i lift the pots a bit to see if they're light & if so I feed them some water.
 
Oh and I've have found "Foxfarms" products to have little to NO cal-mag in them. So that and where you hadn't feed her yet, that will be the issue right there. ;) so I would mix up some nutrients & dose her 1 good time, I would start out with a "regular" dose, nothing extra. Are you using Foxfarm nutrients aswell? :??:

No I couldn't get a hold of some FF nutrients, I only have some molasses & some maxibloom in hand. Do you know if maxibloom is any good for the flowering stage?

Who makes it? :??: so I can check it out, and I will let you know.
 
Its called Maxibloom by General Hydroponics. I had asked the guy at the hydro shop if they had some affordable nutrients for flowering stage & he said Maxibloom was good for being affordable since I couldn't get a hold of the FF nutrients at the time. I tried looking for more info on it but there's very lil info on results on maxibloom experiences.

I wouldn't use TUMS :shock: lmfao...it's calcium citrate, not calcium nitrate which is what's in cal-mag...but it won't kill it, it may stop the uptake of proper nutes but idk never done that :wall:

Well like everyone said more info and a pic of whole plant, but, If it's just on the bottom working it's way up with the tips getting crunchy it's most likely a salinity build up (salt) so I would flush it with plain tap water then wait a few days and mix some full strength nutes (asuming you've been feeding) and feed her, make sure that you have plenty of runoff when you water as this is the main cause of a toxicity like this..no runoff...And if you have no Cal-Mag, (which I never use) get a tablespoon of "epsom salts" and mix with a gallon of water, add nutes to same water, I use tap water left out for 24 hrs to evaporate the chlorine cuz it has calcium, iron, and other chelated minerals in it that your plant needs...good luck and welcome to RIU :hug:

Well, the way I see it is if your broke & have no means of getting "cal-mag", then it would be better then sitting watching your plant dying. Wouldn't ya say :??: and "look it up"! Its an "old timer" quick fix till you can get cal-mag! Good lord..

Increase your dosage by at least 100 ppm of whatever your feeding her...she's hungry. Cal/mag or something similar can't hurt either, does not look like this is the problem your having. Nice girl by the way.

Kinda looks it 2 me.. exsply the browning of the lower leaves on one of those 1st pics on the 1st page. There is also some (N) def going on aswell..
