Can someone please clear this up for me.

3 plants - all vegged for atleast 30 days from seed.

flowering for 14 days now.

thats 44 days total age of the plant.

if you 12/12 a plant before its mature , will you still have to wait that extra time for it to show preflowers...i been waiting 14 days still no sign of sex..i have alternating nodes ..everything..still nota sign of ANYTHING..i need some optimism..this wait is driving me nuts lol


no idea on the strain all i know is from looks its indica dominant.
 
it cant be from light leaks i cover the rubbermaid box everynight with a big ass THICK comforter which complelty engulfs the box lol (my box isnt 100% light proof but its preaty close thats why i cover it just to make sure)


i just dont know anymore im gettin ready to give up..


and even if it was becuz of light leaks , should i atleast have Pre-flowers by now....?
 
okay, first, relax. Different strains take different amounts of time to flower. Also, any pics would be helpful as it IS possible that you have a male and arent recognizing it or may be overlooking a detail that a more experienced grower can see clearly.

Patience is the biggest part of growing ANYTHING, my friend.

Rarwfox they're probably all fems.
Males show their gender far sooner than females from my experience.
Some Genetics just show at different times.
I vegged my White Widows for two months and saw females traits before I switched to 12/12.

Just give it time.
Always in my situations the biggest best looking plants were males and the last to show sex were females.

thanks +rep to every1 that posted good information. my personal opinion is i just didnt veg them long enough and i need to pop a few more 2700k cfl's in there..better yet my next grow im investing in a 100+ watt hps...and a cabinet rather than useless rubbermaids..and crappy cfls (cfls are amazing in veg i will give them that..but they are just a headache to get so many stuffed in there for flowering..) the rubbermaids i have now will just be a home for a mother.

i'm a little curious about the rubbermaid box. is air getting in there at night? plus it's covered with an insulating blanket.

sadly w/e air can seep through the blanket is what they get :( i need to run a hose with intake for nighttime i think but im afraid the hose will just cause a light leak :\ its one problem after another with this grow..i cant wait to start a new...i just need bud from this to last me atleast a month.


The plants look plenty healthy though thats what i dont understand
