Can someone help me with lighting please?

Hey everyone,

I have a question for anyone who knows anything about lighting for hydro systems.
im geting a hydro system that's 16" x 24" x 6"
i do not have allot of money to spend on lights at all.
i was just wondering if anyone could help me out with whats the cheapest lights i can/should get
i just wanna make sure i grab everything i need when i go down to the hardware store.

If you are doing seed to harvest get a ballast that supports both MH and HPS lamps but the best ones imo are the ones that automatically change the settings from MH to HPS or HPS to MH. This is the best because you don't have to buy 2 ballasts and or 2 light fixtures so you save money there.
