Can sex be determined before flowering?

Will the plants show sex before flowering? I have been eyeballing some plants and was wondering if it was just new growth or not. More than likely it is probably just new growth?

pix would help, but yes; plants will preflower, and show sex if vegged for long enough.

About how long of veg will it take? like more than 4 months? I still haven't sexed my plant and I'm going to be fucking devastated if it turns out to be a dude.

some don't show in veg. my blueberries didn't....

most will show around 8 weeks of veg.

how long have you been veging. preflowers are a white v shaped pistal

well, that's what it is, and how you can tell with no hairs....

female calyx will be set in the node, no stem. balls will protrude from the node on a tiny stem.

I have a friend whos plant started growing bud with the lights in 24/0 still in veg even before it showed sex, it was weird but bagseed suprises I guess

Well I don't have any pics of it because it is so small right now that ... it could be another node growing. But they are in day 35 of veg. They are all approx 20inches right now. I'm not sure how long to let them veg for either.
I'll try to get some pics of them.
Anyway thanks for the replies.

I'm in a 7 foot room and my plants are approaching the 3 foot mark 32inches right now.
Should I start flowering? I'm not sure how much bigger they will get during flowering and I don't want to over grow the height of the room or burn the plants.
So should I probably consider flowering them soon?
They will be 2 months into veg around Feb 14th. I was going to start then.
Its just some bagseed for my first attempt.

Let them veg. for at least 2 months.

Sounds like I should just stick with the plan then. I'll let them go till the 14th
