Can seedlings turn hermy after a couple of days?

Hi guys,

As the title of the thread says, my timer is bust and Im really trying to stay on the lighting thing manually, but I've been out by a couple of hours twice now.
How easy is it to screw my seedlings up?

Thanks,

Peace.

normally plants tend to show herm traits mid way through flowering. not saying it won't happen sooner, but normally flower is when they are most likely to herm.. that being said, normally plants can lose an hour or two of light with minimal effects. the big deal is to not interrupt their dark period with light.. like a light flipping on for an hour in the middle of their dark period will screw them up 100x worse than turning the light on one hour late or keeping it on 1 hour too long..

Thanks Tokinman, thats the answer I needed.

Im pretty careful when its their dark period, but I left them an hour or two too late in the light.

Thanks again.

Peace.

Try not to make it a consistent thing or you will trick them back into veg. Less light is better than more light.
