Can only buy cobs on batches of 50

I'm looking at buying vero 29s for my project but all the sites I can find are only prepared to sell trays of 50. I only need 8. Anyone know any good retailers?

I'm in the UK so yes... EU at the moment (I try not to think about that... Really depressing)

I bought some Citizen cobs from ebay
You can also take a look at tme.eu or digikey/mouser

All 3 of those sites either don't sell vero 29's or only sell 50 plus units

your options:
-buy 50 from the suppliers above
-buy <50 from cutter or rapid
-select another mfr.

I get mine from digikey. No minimum last time i got some.

Next day delivery to the uk with the vat included.

Yes, digikey even has the 2000k in stock. But i wonder why not go with the cxm22? Cheaper and i think cobkits still carries them. I have a friend who grabbed some from cobkits about a year ago. Hes running small closet 2.5x2.5. Very happy with the performance.

If you want to save a few bucks, you can go with the Bridgelux V22s (very similar to CXM22) but about $11 at digikey.

Whats the numbers for the cxm22 gen3@1400ma vs the vero29 gen7 C @1400ma ?

Both systems are the same price to build per watt for me.

cxm22 has slightly higher efficacy at 1400 mA than veroC, about 2%

of course the veroC is putting out a lot more light at 1400 due to its higher voltage.

why are you married to 1400 mA?
