can iodine pills (from kelp) be used instead of liquid iodine?

Dude, just order one of the kits with easy step-by-step directions.

Extractions are one thing, but I don't think it is wise to attempt doing a synthesis, even a simpler one like meth, without some decent chemistry knowledge of what you are doing. Especially if you are looking to safely achieve a high quality product.
I think the mail order K idea is much better than this one.

funny funny you can actually get everything pure u need from a science factory! im also going to check out uncle festers book, but yeah i saw clear iodine has extra chems for clarity.

Fester's book is worth less than the paper it is printed on.
Seriously don't trust it. Look at an archive of Rhodium's site if you're going to try this.

Fester's books are riddled with errors. It's not worth the paper it's written on. Look through a Rhodium archive.
