can I vent a non air cooled 400 watt hood?

I have 2 400 watt hps in a 4x4x7 grow tent and need to see how I can vent my lights. I don't wanna go buy newair cooled hoods. I have a 400 watt blower fan, 6 in. Anyone with ideas will be awesome.

pics of hoods? Mine have little "doors" you can unsrew and attach a fan. If you don't have that I'm sure you could cut a whole and do the same. I had to drill holes to make it fit correctly

If the hood isn't sealed it's no good as an A/C reflector unless you make it one. The idea of the A/C reflector design is make sure that most heat is drawn away before it has a chance to radiate through-out the grow room. This is possible by making the reflector completely sealed. If the hood is open it defeats the purpose of A/C.

My hood has a slot for glass but i threw it away years ago. i wonder if they make parts to replace the side of the hood to replace it with an open end for duct hose. Its a 400 watt switchable hps and mh from sunleaves or something like that. Would it be good to run just 1 400 watt instead of 2 in a 4x4x7 grow tent? I have a 400 cfm blower in it also.
