can i use the old water out of my res for my hydro for my tomato and pepper plants that i have in soil

I read that the hydro nutes will mess with the soils ph and shoud NOT be mixed. beside making the top of soil hmm slimey, slimey is not the right word but will mess with the soil.

I dump it on my wildflowers.
