can i use plain tap h20 for leaching?+rep given

i use ro water when feeding and i dont ever really leach i just use ro water every other feeding w/no nutes. when im about done i just use plain ro water every watering for about 2 weeks i think im gunna try leaching now but do i have to waste all that ro water it requires to do a proper leach? i was thinking of just using tap for the leach and finish of with ro nute water? what do u think

I have no issues with my tap water it comes out the tap at about 270ppm... I fill up my containers and let it sit with the top off for 2-3 days so all the bleach and stuff evaporates. Never had a problem... but that's just me make sure you first check your ppm..... oh ya and of course PH check also good luck PEACE
