Can I use a blue light when plants are sleeping/in dark hrs?

I've seen ppl using blue lights in there flowering rooms in some vids were its time lapsed to show a cannabis plants growth stages in fast forward real time
My question about using a blue light is so I have some kind of night light when it's dark in the room..
I have to go through this room to get to my bathroom and sometimes when it's there dark hrs, I have to turn the lights for a short bit so I down smack my face off a wall. Can I run a light in the dark hrs so I can see? I'm talking like a light that's kind of similar to the moons light .
 
It's green lights that plants can't see. So if you want to work in your room when the lights are off then put a green ligt bulb in a socket and turn that on to work. In pretty sure a blue light would fuck up your 12/12 cycle
 
I concur. Green lights, they have them on amazon for cheap. goes same as most animals like deer, cant see green spectrum, so use green to hunt em at night.

What goes on during the dark cycle to want to check in on them? Im curious.
 
I have to go through the room to get to my bathroom to take a piss or shower... Do ppl even read b4 requesting a question? Lol
 
Can the light be any green light or a certain kind of bulb? If anyone has a link of the proper type of light bulb u need to use when your plants are sleeping an can't sense , can u put the link up please ? Thanks
 
Try to get a low watt led one, as the cfl's tend to just be painted green, will work but can scrape off easy...if you go cfl make sure its truly a green light not just dipped.

Just get the lowest wattage u can, you dont need to waste electric for no reason, or even give to much light, just to be safe lol
