Can I top this right now?

Well my plant is about an inch away from the cfls now so I need to top it really soon, is it big enough yet? Tap root showed on june 8th.

You have 4 nodes so yes go ahead and top it, i did mine at 4 nodes and had no problems.

Uncle Ben made a thread about topping and he suggested to top at the 5th node. I've done it at the 3rd node by mistake and had no problems. I think you'll be fine at the 4th.

A. Get some perlite in your soil. You need something absorbent to retain water in the soil. B. Move her away from the light a bit and do a FIM job on her. Your plant is kinda short and a FIM will not affect the height like a regular topping. Good luck, BigSteve.

Sorry to highjack your thread mate but I have the same question. I put mine under a metal halide straight away and as a newbie I didnt realise mine had 4 nodes they are only 6 or so inches tall. I assume I can start topping also. Thanks for your hospitality.
