Can i Top a Clone or can you only top a plant from seed?

I was just wondering i have topped other plants before but never a clone i have two clones now that are about two feet tall and i would like to get them more bushy but im not sure if i can even top a clone and is it any diffrent than topping a plant that grew from seed?

It's ok as long as it has grown roots.
