Can I switch these to 18/6? got pics

Ive done all my vegging at 24/0. Im in soil using 6 bulb t8s 6500k. I just hooked up my second 1000 watter in the flowering room so I kinda would like to cut the electric back even just a little. So the question is... Can I switch them directly to 18/6 or should I work them down. They are about 7 weeks old and id like to veg for another week at least as im trying to get a perpetual harvest going. And they wont quite fit into flower room yet. Also how old should some really healthy clones be, before they can go to 18/6? My current belief is that clones are 24/0, correct? Pics are little old, but you get the idea. They are within a few inches of these pics. Clones are in beer cups and new growth has started. Any help would be appreciated.

if your trying to flower 12/12 is what you want. As per clones or any seedling they will veg in anything when the light phase is more then the dark, so greater then 12hrs. im a bit confused on your question. i always liked a few hrs of dark

I want to continue to veg them. But i have been veging under 24/0. So my question is can i switch them directly to 18/6 or is it best to work the hours down like 23/1 22/2 21/3..etc? All this while i continue to veg for a few more weeks. After that all of my grows will be 18/6 if the results are pleasing.

itll be fine u might even get as bigger boost in growth to cause the dark period

you can just directly switch no need to step down really
